All of this would be laudable if the liberals were consistent in their protests, name calling, and denunciations. But, they're not.
To wit: Survey the mainstream media's coverage of the almost 30-year war in Nigeria's north where Christians are being excluded by Islamic extremists--Boko Haram--who have burned thousands of their homes and churches and conquered territory about the size of Belgium. Last year alone, Boko Haram militants were responsible for killing an estimated 10k Christians.
Boko Haram is really interested in diversity, isn't it?
Yet, liberals in the U.S. mainstream media haven't made much of these militants. Where are the rallys, the name calling, and the denunciations?
Perhaps what liberals in the mainstream media really want is to exclude the mention of Christianity from discourse about injustice in world affairs. That is, unless the discourse is about Christians, and especially Catholics, who engage in atrocities. Then, the liberals in the mainstream media can't seem to stop talking about Christianity.
Let the discussion begin...
