Once Pfeifer told his tall tale to a conservative blogger in early April, conservative media outlets have repeated it. One problem: None corroborated the contents of Pfeifer’s tale before running with the story.
Yes, shame on the conservative media outlets that didn’t verify their sources. Smelling blood, they ran with Pfeifer's tall tale so they could take another punch at and sully poor Harry Reid. Those very, very bad conservatives. Here's the proof that they have nothing but malice in their hearts.
“Besides that, even if Harry Reid concocted a story…,” Pfeifer asked, “why does that matter? I understand (the public's perception) that if somebody could lie about something like this, they could lie about anything.” He continued:
It was just so outrageous. The fact that someone can say something
completely false that can destroy somebody’s life, it’s just wrong.
Where’s the moral compass?
What a delicious irony! Pfeifer is decrying what the conservative media did to Harry Reid. Poor Harry Reid. Leave him alone.
Remember what poor Harry Reid did to Mitt Romney from the floor of the U.S. Senate cloaked in the robe of senatorial immunity?
Let the discussion begin...
