Using 2013 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), they ranked the nation’s large urban areas to identify the most sexually diseased cities.
The top 10 most sexually diseased U.S. cities:

2. St. Louis, MO 1,867.54
3. West Memphis, AR 1,717.29
4. Philadelphia, PA 1,689.77
5. Norfolk, VA 1,632.74
6. Baltimore, MD 1,630.98
7. Richmond, VA 1,544.39
8. New Orleans, LA 1,520.37
9. Killeen, TX 1,512.83
10. Fayetteville, NC 1,489.20
According to FoxNews, the Chief Medical Officer for the Alabama Department of Public Health, Dr. Tom Miller, told the Montgomery Advertiser:
It’s pretty sobering to look at those three as a total. When we check numbers and try to get to the same point as was reported in this (ranking), we think the numbers are in the ballpark in terms of the numbers cited for Montgomery.
But, what the heck? At least Montgomery, AL, ranks #1 for something—the most STDs in the United States. About the ranking, Dr. Miller said: “It’s difficult to quantify how much is contributed by specific groups.” He believes ranking is due to the number of visitors as well as residents in the city.
