Given this reality, one wonders why parents who are concerned about the formation of their children in the Catholic faith would pay such high tuition bills for their children to attend those institutions. But they do, for a variety of reasons, all the while expressing frustration that those institutions are not more identifiably Catholic, especially in the classroom.
At the University of Notre Dame (UND), the Reverend Wilson D. Miscamble, CSC, has done something about this miscarriage of justice to assist UND students to select courses that will maximize their opportunity to receive an authentic Catholic education at UND.
NDCatholic is for students who are seeking an authentic Catholic education at Notre Dame—one that will allow them to grasp the complementary nature of faith and reason, to develop a deep understanding of and love for the truth, and to gain a clear appreciation of the Catholic moral and social vision.
The Motley Monk offers kudos to Fr. Miscamble for demonstrating his love for UND’s Catholic mission and making that possible for another generation of Fighting Irish!
