The narrative being touted by the mainstream media is that Dr. Carson fabricated stories in his biography "Gifted Hands" about how his temper got the best of him as a youth. He hit his Mom with a hammer. He also tried to knife another young man. "Give us his name!" they demanded.
Even Donald Trump chimed in on the stories, using Dr. Carson's description of "pathological" anger to insinuate that Carson is unfit to be President.
As it ends up, while conservatives may be nothing but a bunch of liars, the truth is that if they are, they aren't the only liars.
It seems that liberals have their fair share of liars, too. To wit: Hillary Rodham Clinton.
- watching the Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, attempting to deflect attention away from HRC's obvious prevarication (does anyone believe HRC wanted in 1975 to become a G.I. Jill?); and,
- watching Andrea Mitchell of NBC News press Wasserman-Schultz (who is quite obviously thinking, "You're supposed to be on our side! How can you possibly be doing this? Stop it right now, Andrea, or you will be very sorry!")
In this instance, The Motley Monk empathizes with Wasserman-Schultz. Obviously, Andrea Mitchell went "rogue," pressing the DNC Chair to tell the truth about HRC not telling the truth.
After all, and as Wasserman-Schultz knows very well, that's only how conservatives are supposed to be treated by the mainstream media.
Let the discussion begin...
